Value Investing by buying below present fundamental value securities isn't the only way things can be done, Growth Investing is just as justified as Value Investing strategy-wise.

I think people have basically forgotten about this book. Of course The Intelligent Investor has been read by all value investors, this book gives some interesting insight into Ben Grahams life and how he came about money management and value investing.

For example, he nearly went bust in the great depression and he took leverage early on. This book also highlights the era Ben Graham came from, we don't realise now how information starved everyone was back in his day.

The Dhandho Investor kinda condenses the knowledge from all the other value investing works in a way that is simple and practical, with real examples that he has come across when managing money.

Altogether a fun read, certainly more entertaining than The Intelligent Investor.

Applied Python for Value Investing

David Einhorn's investment process is heavily rooted in Value Investing, a concept that was pioneered by Ben Graham.

Ben Graham wrote The Intelligent Investor with the intended audience being the general public, so that anyone can understand Value Investing.

You can't really read any of these value investing books without having at least a flick through The Intelligent Investor (in my opinion).

It's the book that everything else is based off, if not the strategies he outlines then the underlying arguments for why picking value stocks for investment is a good idea.

It's a good idea to get to the foundations about what Joel Greenblatt talks about. Without having to dive into something dry like Security Analysis, the Intelligent Investor (though still a bit dry) basically lays out the essence of value investing.
