A Charlie Munger Disciple

Mohnish Pabrai is basically a Munger Disciple, he will readily admit that he copied the best idea from Buffett and Munger. Such humility is rare, and it shows in this work.

A fun read about value investing.

If you read about Munger, you've gotta read about Buffett

The Snowball is a much larger book than Damn Right, and goes into a lot more detail. Alice Schroeder did an excellent job with this book, I get the impression that you really get to know more about Buffett than is reasonable.

She did an AMA on reddit at some point (surprisingly few people were on there asking questions), she really did pour her all into this work, and for quite a long time, and then there's the fact that she had the best access to Buffett as anyone has ever had.

Charlie Mungers Biography

No doubt people reading about value investing would come across these books if they are delving into the backgrounds of these great investors.

Damn Right gives as much background about Charlie Munger as The Einstein of Money does for Ben Graham. Both of these men lived interesting lives and were broke at times, both these books are fun to read in my opinion and definitely help with understanding value investing.

Charlie Munger

It's hard to read about Buffett without reading about Munger too.

Munger informed a lot about Buffetts investment strategy later on.

No-Nonsense Charlie Munger   (2 Comments)

Warren Buffetts business partner is basically the terse bad cop to the routine. This biography tells us a lot about how he invests and the way he thinks about the world.

His example is one many investors have tried to replicate, though none are as upfront about it as Mohnish Pabrai-he readily admits that he copied Munger and Buffett.
